Van Vlees en Bloed, de Woestijnvisserie van Tom van Dyck en Michiel de Vlieger, is genomineerd in de categorie Beste Miniserie op het World Television Festival in het Canadese Banff (13-16 juni).

Vorig jaar won de één kijkcijfertopper al de Prijs voor Beste Miniserie op het Internationaal Televisiefestival van Monte Carlo. In de categorie voor Beste Miniserie strijdt Van vlees en bloed tegen het Canadese Diamonds, Occupation (GB), Palm Sunday (Rusland), The Krupps – A Family Between War and Peace (Duitsland) en The Voices of Pamano (Spanje).
